locking issue

Hi All

I'm trying to run the following command :
svn commit -m "changed test file",
but its giving the following error :
svn: Working copy '/home/gary/ProjectName/trunk/AdminManager/build' not 
locked.

Also, if I try 'svn update', it gives a similar error about a folder in 
the working copy not being locked.

Any ideas ?
