Error while running fs command

Hi All,
I setup HADOOP-0.21.0 in pseudo-distributed  mode.
I am not able to run any command.
I get error.

security.Groups: Group mapping
impl=org.apache.hadoop.security.ShellBasedUnixGroupsMapping;
cacheTimeout=300000
Bad connection to FS. command aborted.
