When I run your ant script the system says:
...
[echoproperties] sun.boot.library.path=/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2/jre/lib/i386
[echoproperties] java.vm.version=1.4.2-b28
[echoproperties] ant.version=Apache Ant version 1.5.3 compiled on April 16 2003
[echoproperties] ant.java.version=1.4
[echoproperties] java.vm.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.
...
[echoproperties] java.io.tmpdir=/tmp
[echoproperties] line.separator=\n
[echoproperties] java.vm.specification.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.

I'm try the other option too but the error persists
