Problem with Calendar an german locale

Hi there, 

I do have a problem with the calendar popup (for example when creating new
posts). My Blog / User is in english locale, my Timezone is Europe/Berlin.

When selecting a date in the popup, for example 2007-01-01, the following is
inserted in the textfield: tt.02.uu instead of the correct date.

Any idea how this could be fixed?
