Mail List Mailet

I am looking over the code for the Mail List Functionality in v2.2.0a15 and 
saw that it has been deleted from cvs HEAD for v3.  Has it been moved or is 
it going to be completely re-written.  I ask since I am going to make some 
small changes to my local version and would post a patch back if it isn't 
going through an overhaul for the v3.
