Deprecated Processors
Greetings!
Not sure which email to use, but I wanted to reach out and ask if it's
possible to find a list of deprecated processors (or future deprecated
ones).
We recently upgraded one of our test environments and the nifi app log
provided details on processors in use that will be deprecated in future
releases.
The problem for us is our PROD environments use tons of processors, and it
would be great if we could see which ones are going to be deprecated so we
can just replace them before we upgrade.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Respectfully,
Mohnish Vaid

Monish,
The following Apache NiFi wiki page provides a summary of deprecated
components and features along with the version that included the
deprecation:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NIFI/Deprecated+Components+and+Features
In general, deprecation warnings indicate that a component or feature is
targeted for removal in subsequent major releases. The component will
continue to function in minor releases to provide a migration path to
recommended alternatives.

David Handermann

Also, deprecated doesn't mean not functioning/supported, so you might
just go ahead and upgrade NiFi while leaving your current
dataflow/processors "as is" ... and then start incrementally replacing
the deprecated processors with whatever is available in the version of
NiFi to which you upgraded.

Please post to a single list.
Can you show the log output you see?
Thanks
