Enabling Local Storage in an Existing Zone

Hi All,

I enabled local storage on an existing zone running on XenServers. Its been 15 minutes
and no sign of local storage pools being created on the XenServers.

Do I need to do anything further to create the local pools?

Yep, a restart certainly fixes it.

I have opened https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-4733 suggesting a UI improvement.

You need to restart the MS in this case for local pools to show up. For hosts that are added after enabling local storage on the zone it gets discovered immediately.
