What I would do in cases like this is to not get hung up over the automated
details but get an experienced user to go through the tests and do loads, and
loads of screen shots.

Each use case or scenario could be combined into a wordprocessor document with a
sentence or two for each screen. 

This sort of thing is terribly useful in explaining to people what Lenya does if
they are just glancing at the system, but is also very useful in tutorials.
