Compiling JSPs

How to get the JSP file gets compiled under Tomcat4.0.4. Everytime I make
changes in my JSP/Java_Bean I test it by loading onto the browser. But if
the number of files changed/affected are large I would rather want to verify
that they all are getting successfully compiled (into servlet codes). How to
do it (jspc?)?

Further any tip for this for JDeveloper3.1 (Is such compilation available
there?).
