[Bug 5651] New: RFE hashcash + "memory bound"

http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5651

Summary: RFE hashcash + "memory bound"
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
               URL: http://pennypost.sourceforge.net/
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: Rules
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Lance@TheHaverkamps.net

There is now a Thunderbird extension for stamping email (yea!). It's called
PennyPost http://pennypost.sourceforge.net/ It can use either hashcash (which
we already support) or a newer stamp pricing system called memory bound or
mbound. To quote Wikipedia: "Memory bound refers to a situation in which the
time to complete a given computational problem is decided primarily by the
amount of available memory to hold data. In other words, the limiting factor of
solving a given problem is the memory access speed. The application of memory
bound functions could prove to be valuable in preventing spam..."

Might we support memory bound in addition to hashcash?

Thanks,

Lance
