   ### Task Description
   
   **What needs to be done:**
   On the Spark reader/writer path we are seeing 2 gaps with respect to the initial scoping. There is no mention of the partitioners and the log readers in the tickets.
   
   **Why this task is needed:**
   We need to update these parts of the code to also operate on the HoodieSchema to ensure we can fully migrate to our own type system.
