[jira] [Created] (AIRAVATA-572) Add basic auth based authenticator
to Airavata
Amila Jayasekara created AIRAVATA-572:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Add basic auth based authenticator to Airavata
Key: AIRAVATA-572
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-572
Project: Airavata
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Security
Reporter: Amila Jayasekara
We should have an authenticator to authenticate requests based on "Basic Auth" protocol. With this we will be able to directly authenticate rest calls using the user store configured for Airavata. Also we dont need to implement authentication at server level (Tomcat level).
