SOAP compression
I saw some exchange about compressing SOAP request/response in the mail
archive
and found some reference to
http://www.osmoticweb.com/axis-soap-compression.htm
I downloaded the file and tried in on a client using Axis 1.2RC1. It
worked fine
with regular HTTP traffic. I could see compressed data shown on TCPMon.
But when I switched to HTTPS, I got the following exception.
It seems their implementation only works for HTTP. Is there any way to
hook a special handler or interceptor
in AXIS's own http sender to do compression?
