How to resolve external entities in Schemas ?

Hi,

I use Xerces COM wrapper in developing windows-only apps on VB. I am not satisfied with MSXML parser -- it blows up on complex Schemas. But the problem is - I have some external entities in schemas (e.g. http://www.remote.host.com/schemas/schema.xsd) and my customers are usually beyond the proxy/firewall, so while parsing they can't reach remote hosts. I know EntityResolver class that's doing right that, but it isn't accessible from COM (because parsers aren't accessible). So if anybody knows any work around please let me know, I'll appreciate any input.

P.S. I've looked at July beta of MSXML Parser, they have SAX Parser and EntityResolver COM interfaces, but EntityResolver is disabled by now.
