making a sandbox release
Although I think we're set up to do individual sandbox project releases, for the
first one, I'm thinking of doing it like we use to - as a collection of add-ons.
I'm thinking we should do this soon. I can serve as release manager for this,
but am more than happy if someone else wants to.
What additional (if any) new sandbox projects are ready to be added to the set
of released sandbox projects for this go-around?

I'm glad to help :-). Each time the website docs for releasing get improved as
a good side effect, too :-)

parent-pom-2 is on maven central, ready for use, since 11 January.

I'm +1 for releasing sandbox as a whole for this first TLP one, then go
separately with each project.

It'd be good to have the parent-pom 2 release on repos before so that we can
remove some unnecessary POM lines from sandbox projects; I may be wrong but
it seems to me we voted for the parent-pom 2 release but we didn't actually
deploy it, did I miss anything?
In the meantime I'd align the sandbox-osgi-runtime with the new components
(SolrCAS and RDFCasConsumer) so that it can be included too.
