   This thread was started by Github as a PR ... I'll be digging back into
   updating SCIMple from the local changes we have at PSU in the next few
   days, creating a release policy (we need to cut at least an MR to move our
   projects to) and then we'll move forward.  At this point, we don't have
   plans to eliminate the dependency on commons-jaxrs but I did look at the
   EJBs and (as noted above) they're not really providing any benefit.
   
   Since the PSU code has not been able to migrate to Apache SCIMple, I
   haven't been following the associated JIRA as closely as I should.  I also
   need to talk to the infra team to see about getting the Github issues
   migrated into JIRA ... I'll send that email this morning (I know there are
   at least a couple JIRA extensions that claim to do that migration).
