Release 1.6 ?
I was wondering where we are on the (re-)release of 1.6 instead of the cancelled 1.5. I assume the legal concerns have been addressed, so perhaps now would be a good time to release 1.6 - especially since we have added some useful bug fixes and features.

Hopefully someone is looking at them - let's keep an eye on this and try to release 1.6 soon (I believe there are a few people that are waiting for some of the fixes - not only those in 1.5)

I have modified the legal files, but it would be nice if others could
review that the source / binaries distributions legal files match the
contents, that the licenses / notices are correct...
If so, I'd be happy to recut a release.
