Enhancement: constant-throughput timer
Summary: Enhancement: constant-throughput timer
Product: JMeter
Version: Nightly (Please specify date)
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: Other
Component: Main
AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: jsalvata@atg.com
I'd like to see a timer which waits for an specified amout of time MINUS
whatever the previous sample took.
In this way, it is possible to hit a site with (for example) 2 hits per second
-- no matter how fast the site responds (as far as it responds in less of .5
secs, of course). There's currently no way to do this (as far as I know).
