Can a war be deployed on Jetty that gets installed with Lenya?

I am fairly new Apache Lenya user and wanted to know if I can deploy a war to
the Jetty server that Lenya gets deployed on?  My basic question is can we
have jsp on lenya that can be run on a servlet engine to render the
appropriate content based on the site id, namely for the French, German etc
versions.

Again I am very new to Lenya and wanted your feedback.

Jetty is not an Apache project.  See the documentation at:
http://www.mortbay.org/jetty/

(From memory so this may be obsolete) Jetty does not natively run WAR
files.  An add-on was available to extract WAR files for use by Jetty.
