hi,

while trying to create an instance, the cloudstack UI did not detect any
template, even that have installed them, following the manuel's
instructions:

*/usr/lib64/cloud/agent/scripts/storage/secondary/cloud-install-sys-tmplt -m
/mnt/secondary -u
http://download.cloud.com/templates/acton/acton-systemvm-02062012.vhd.bz2-h
xenserver  -F
*

i am using the most basic configuration with the management server containg
the sql database, the primary and secondary storage.

Hi,

Cloudstack UI does not show the routing template while deploying guest vm. It only shows the user registered templates.
The template you have installed is a routing template to bring up system vms like SSVM,CPVM and Router VM.
