messages not being removed from the queue

I am running a simple test the loops 100 time sending messages to a queue.
When the message listener can process the message quickly, all 100 messages
are consumed. However, when the message listeners take a long time ~> 30
secs, messages are left on the queue and are never processed.

Using activemq-4.0RC3, jencks-1.1.1, and lingo 1.1

Any ideas?
