Again : jdk1.4 and cocoon, jdbc problem !
Dear reader,
I'm back again with my problem of trying to run Cocoon 2.0.2 with jdk1.4 to
access a database with jdbc.
>From what I've red in the mailing list and on the website, it is a problem
related to the evolution of the jdbc API inside the jdk1.4.
I've tried several things :
* to recompile cocoon 2.0.2 with the jdk1.4. No success with using jdbc.
* to recompile avalon, excalibur.
-> taken from cvs ... gives compilation error when it comes to compile
cocoon
-> taken fron the website so that the sources are matching the binaries
version (inside the cocoon source). Doesn't work .... it seems that some
classes, especially inside the scratchpad, have evolved and forbid me to
compile cocoon.
Well and now ???
Does somebody get the C202 working with the jdk1.4 or should I get an other
version C203 ????
If someone has the answer .....
Guy

Doesn't
build installwar
work with you? It is supposed to skip the scratchpad.
It seems to work here...

This is a test of the emergency signature system. Were this an actual
signature, you would see amusing mottos, disclaimers, a zillion net
addresses, or edifying philisophical statements. This is only a test.
