[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-2430) do master client operations fail over?

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-2430?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13921014#comment-13921014 ]

Sean Busbey commented on ACCUMULO-2430:
---------------------------------------

I was going to mention that the agitation on the long run tests would cover this. I know that I usually run the continuous ingest test with multiple masters and I haven't run into problems with either readers or writers failing on a master change. There's no bulk loading in that test though.

> A user was performing a bulk import. During the import, the master failed over to a backup. The bulk import never completed from the perspective of the client. We do not have a test for client fail-over to a backup master, as far as I know.
