Problem with spell check

Hello Sirs

I have had problem with the spell check so i uninstalled and re installed 4.1.1.
still the same does not tell me when the word is wrong or gives a total different word all together,
the only way i can check it is to save it and put it onto my email for it to check it

It may be me but it was ok just stopped checking, 
Please could you me and advise me what i am doing wrong
