Can someone help ...?

I am trying to get Jetspeed up and running.

I went to the online demo, it says it is not available.

I downloaded the jetspeed bundle, the jetspeed webpage says the installer has tomcat and derby. I installed and ran nothing happened. IE reported no page.

I digged further into the the installed jet binary package found a running.txt file that describes how to download, install, run and shutdown Tomcat.
I did various combinantion with Tomcat running (tomcat works fine) no jetspeed.

Can some one help me or this is the state of Jetspeed?

When you say you downloaded the "jetspeed bundle" do you mean the installer?

Do you know Tomcat really well?

Did you read and follow all the instructions in the install.

What actually happened?

Do you get any messages in the Tomcat logs?
Do you see in the Tomcat log where Jetspeed actually started or tried to
start.

Can you get to the Tomcat Administration web page and see Jetspeed as an
application?
Do you see the Jetspeed directory in webapps. Are all the files there?

You need to do a bit of digging to find out why it did not work.
Provide the error messages that you get or at least a description of
what you mean by "nothing happened".
Something happened even if it was not what you expected.
