Scheme https bug?

We are using a DirectLink, and setting the
scheme to "https". For some reason, Tapestry
is adding a port of 80 to the generated URL.

Is there a way to tell it not to add the URL?
If we specify a port of 443, then the next
secure page that has unsecure links, each link
gets a :443 tacked on.

We are using Tapestry 2.1.
