News and announcements from ApacheCon

I'm sure I must be missing something, but there doesn't seem to be
anywhere that's collecting news and announcements from last week's
ApacheCon in Oakland. I guess I would have expected to see that show
up on the ApacheCon site itself.

I'm talking about things like:

* Microsoft's sponsorship renewal
* Subversion coming to the ASF
* Proclamations (or whatever they were!) from the Mayor of Oakland and
the Governor of California
* Undoubtedly more that I'm missing..

Aren't we making a splash with stuff like this? Even just saying it
happened somewhere?
