needed some clarification. please help

Hello authors..
 
i wanted some information for the below topics
 
1.  Permissions. 
 
- What is actually treated as Permission Object in Jetspeed.  From the
Turbine_Permission table, it looks like the permissions are the Portlet
Title Bar actions.
  Looks like it is a global portlet actions for all the portlets defined
per role.   How can I use this at Portlet level permissions instead of
Role level.
 
 
 
2. Parameters.
 
- Just to double confirm ...What is referred as Parameters in
Jetspeed.?.
