Summary: compilation failure under g++ 4.1: extra qualification
Product: Security
Version: C++ 1.2.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: C++ Canonicalization
AssignedTo: security-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: ian@iay.org.uk
The xml-security library fails to compile under g++ 4.1 because of extra qualification of method names in
some header files. g++ 4.1 is the default compiler in Fedora Core 5, just released.
Removing the extra qualifications is enough to get the library to compile under g++ 4.1, and it still
compiles under 4.0 and 3.4.4 for FC4 and FC3 respectively.

Updated code checked into SVN. I have compiled against g++ 4.1.0 and now seems
to be OK.

Hmm. This should be fixed either way. Thanks. Will ensure this gets put in
for the 1.3 release.
