[jira] [Commented] (CALCITE-2420) Aggregate functions MIN/MAX does not work for Timestamp

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-2420?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16548631#comment-16548631 ]

Julian Hyde commented on CALCITE-2420:
--------------------------------------

I see that you are trying to use the Java class java.sql.Timestamp. Calcite represents SQL {{TIMESTAMP}} values as primitive {{long}} values (or {{java.lang.Long}} instances if nullable), but does not use {{java.sql.Timestamp}} internally. Try {{createSqlType(TIMESTAMP)}} rather than {{createJavaType(Timestamp.class)}}.
