iPad app dock icon greyed out

Anyone encountered when installing an ad hoc build on iPad (iOS11.4.1) the
app icon in the dock is greyed out and won't open the app? It opens fine
using the usual app icon, its just in the dock. Currently using Flex 4.16
with AIR 25 as 4.16.1/AIR 30 won't install an ad hoc distribution build. 

This may be an iOS issue as its being talked about on apple boards, but
since I've just added Assets.car, it may also related to this.

This issue clears on rebooting the iPad ... appears to be an iOS11 bug.
