Indhumathi27 opened a new pull request #3337: [CARBONDATA-3478]Fix ArrayIndexOutOfBound Exception on compaction after alter operation
URL: https://github.com/apache/carbondata/pull/3337

   **Problem:**
Please check [JIRA-CARBONDATA-3478](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CARBONDATA-3478) to reproduce the issue
After table rename operation, carbon table will be updated with lastmodified timestamp.
On compaction operation, we will check for if restructuredBlockExists by comparing the tableLastModifiedTime and schemaLastModifiedTime of each block.
In the example given in JIRA, restructuredBlockExists was true for first block, which was wrong.

   **Solution:**
After comparing tableLastModifiedTime and schemaLastModifiedTime of each block, check if size of columnSchema in carbontable and footer of block is same or not. If same, then return false. Else, for restructuredBlockExists will be true [in case of add/drop column operation]
