Subversion1.4.3 on winxp
When I setup Subersion1.4.3 on C:\ and create a repository on C:\, I can create a Windows service and start it as described in “windows-service.txt”
If I setup Subersion1.4.3 on E:\ and create a repository on E:\, I can create a Windows service but CAN NOT start it.
A message is prompted like “Could not start the xxx service on Local Computer Error5 Access is denied”
Dose anyone know how to solve this problem?

Is the service user account authorized to the drive?
Are you creating repository on root of drive or in a folder? Usually a good
idea to create a folder like E:\repositories that holds the repositories.
