[jira] [Resolved] (INFRA-7050) Install latest stable Ubuntu x86_64 on pulse.apache.org

jan iversen resolved INFRA-7050.
--------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Vm is created and secured (ldap puppet etc).

dns: pulse-vm.a.o

At the moment root@ and I have access. Please catch a root@ person on #asfnfra, or mail root@a.o o with apacheid to get access.

The project is expected to maintain the vm and keep it updated with patches. If needed infra can help with this task.

In case of questions/problems do not hesitate to contact us.

Have fun

jan I.

> pulse is currently running Fedora 12 i386; I would like it wiped and have Ubuntu x86_64 installed.
> ** PLEASE ** wait until I confirm I have backed up all the relevant workfiles!
> Please allocate at least 2GiB to the /boot partition, 40GiB to the / partition, and 2.0GiB to the swap partition (to allow for potential additional RAM needs in the future).
> The /boot partition in the current instance was too small to support upgrading Fedora, hence the request for a larger space.
