Key: JAMES-149

Type: Task
Status: Closed
Priority: Minor
Resolution: FIXED
Project: James
Components:
FetchMail
Fix Fors:
2.2.0RC1

Versions:

Assignee: Steve Brewin
Reporter: Steve Brewin

Updated: Sat, 5 Jun 2004 12:58 PM
Due: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 12:00 AM
Description:
Add a soft-fail option so that 'Received' headers with unresolved 'from xxx' domains are injected into James with a MailAttribute indicating the problem.
These can be detected in the Mailet chain and processed according to an individual installation's needs.
This adds a further alternative to the current setup which offers the choice of not checking at all or rejecting mail that fails the check.
