Licensing for STAX for Apache Neethi
Hello,
I am trying to confirm the library requirements for Apache Neethi.
Currently it appears that Neethi requires stax-api.1.0.1.jar is
required which comes from http://stax.codehaus.org. This may actually
be a sub-requirement of Axiom which I am also using.
The problem I have is that stax apparently has no license on it. Is
there a different variation I should be using that does have a license?
Thanks,
Phil Hunt

Thanks. I found it inside the Axiom distribution finally (as opposed
to on the web site). I guess when it comes to reviewing licensing it
is always nice to have a URL I can point the reviewers to.
It would be nice to have it documented better on Apache Neethi since
that what triggered our dependency.
Thanks again,
Phil Hunt

Followup....
Actually, it's because we haven't done an Axiom or Neethi release
since the update to Axiom was made. There shouldn't be any problems
with you replacing the codehaus jar with the geronimo jar in your
local environment rather than waiting for new releases.
Cheers,
David

This issue was raised and the change to Geronimo's StAX api was made back
in Oct. '07 by Woden as we needed to understand the license requirements
of Woden's prereqs as a precursor to graduation from incubation. You can
see the mailing list thread here:
