   Aside from the manual fixes that I did to deal with double-license header issues in the bloomfilter code, I agree, with respect to licenses. I can backport those fixes manually on their own, though, without all the other changes.
   
   However, I was also talking about the burden to maintain separate build configuration, keeping all the Maven plugins up-to-date, etc. The more similar the pom.xml files are between branches, the easier the work is to maintain.
