       If I'm getting you right, you are planing to upgrade from 0.20.2 to some current 0.20.20x release. If your question is do you have to make any changes on your application  map reduce code. AFAIK no code change in application level is required to execute the same on any current hadoop 0.20.20x releases. Both the old and new Map reduce APIs work fine.

is there any incompatibility issues (usability, API, development,..) with
Hadoop 20.2 (Feb 2010) and the newer versions. For example, do we have to
make any changes to
hadoop 20.2 mapReduce modules ?
