[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-637) git remote/local difference arrows do not show

Matt Heitker created NETBEANS-637:
-------------------------------------

Summary: git remote/local difference arrows do not show
                 Key: NETBEANS-637
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-637
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 9.0
Environment: Windows and Mac; netbeans 9 beta and daily builds; java 8 and 9.
            Reporter: Matt Heitker

I have a Netbeans maven project, using git from bitbucket.  In version 8.2, when I make a local commit, an "up" arrow shows next to the branch, showing me that I need to push the branch back to bitbucket.  When I do a remote fetch, and the remote is newer, version 8.2 shows me a "down" arrow next to the branch name, to show me I need to do a pull/merge.

Neither the version 9 beta nor any of the daily builds so far display these "up" and "down" arrows.  Is this an intended change, or is it a bug?  I'd argue that this is a bug.  The feature is very valuable (to me, anyway).
