[jira] [Commented] (SPARK-15987) PostgreSQL CITEXT type JDBC support

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-15987?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15335729#comment-15335729 ]

Takeshi Yamamuro commented on SPARK-15987:
------------------------------------------

It is easy to add new types as JDBC dialects in spark though, I'm not sure this type is helpful for most spark users. Also, spark has no type to handle insensitive string types.
