> I had made a joke app and had a link that I expected to open in Safari, instead it opened into the app itself. Regardless of _system etc, and the suggested solutions posted on StackOverflow etc. I ended up adding the InAppBrowser plugin which ended up solving the problem. However, it seems weird to me to have to have a plugin to do a simple link like that. Just a thought.
