Spot Project Meeting Minutes for 08/10
Hello everyone,
Here are the meeting minutes I owe you from this past Friday.
Thank you everyone for participating and I look forward to speaking with
you all at the next meeting on 08/24 @ 3:30 (*ET*)

*Highlights*
-
Will begin every meeting moving forward with a look at all new Jira
Issues submitted since the last meeting (starting with the new bug
SPOT-276!).

Move communication from Slack to the Mailing list

All Pull Requests should have the matching Jira Issue in the Title
*Podling Report / Project Status*
-
Podling report has been submitted
-
Talked about community effort at gaining project momentum
-
Removing Slack reference from website and Github and pushing the mailing
lists
-
Adding a link to the Confluence page
*New Features*
-
No new features so far (SUBMIT ON JIRA)

Will begin every meeting moving forward with a look at all new Jira
Issues

Austin will be submitting a new feature around User Interface upgrades
*Old Jira Issues*

If there are any Jira issues relevant to you, Go Comment Now
-
Nate has volunteered to go through and clean up the Jira issues that are
no longer relevant.
*Pull Requests*
-
All PRs need to be tied to a Jira Issue (Preferably in the Title)
-
Any PRs without a Jira Issue will be sent a notice to create one within
7 days or be rejected
-
Austin will write up the official process for submitting a pull request
and share it on the Dev list and on the Github Readme

Pull Requests require a single +1 now because of the reduction in active
committers
*Open Forum*

There was concern as to which branch (Master/ODM) to contribute to. ODM
branch cannot be merged yet without some work. Therefore, plan is to button
up the current master branch and perform another release before merging the
ODM branch.

A community member has brought up work around integrating Streamsets.
