[jira] [Commented] (IMPALA-11987) Document mem_limit_executors

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-11987?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17698010#comment-17698010 ]

shajini thayasingh commented on IMPALA-11987:
---------------------------------------------

[~myloginid@gmail.com] I hear that this MEM_LIMIT_EXECUTORS query option is just a {color:#FF0000}*developer-only*{color} option that provides a way to set the memory limit for only the executors. And this option is {color:#FF0000}*strictly for testing*{color} and has nothing to do with our users.

Please see the comments on this ticket https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-8928.

Unfortunately there is no option to hide this query option when someone runs "SET ALL"
