Just for a reference, we've explored the Datatypes in SQOOP-515 and we do have [IDF test representation described on the wiki|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SQOOP/Sqoop2+Intermediate+representation#Sqoop2Intermediaterepresentation-Intermediateformatrepresentationproposal]. We however have gaps (especially in the nested types) that we should figure out (and [~vybs] have a subtasks for that).
