Cocoon-2.2-dev compile problems JDK 1.5

Tried tweaking compile-build.xml, setting target="1.5" instead of
target="${target.vm}". Seems to me it is saying the release is 1.5 code, but
since it contains enums, I guess it isn't? My Ant is 1.6.2...???
