[jira] Created: (AMQ-2593) Slow cunsumer

Slow cunsumer
-------------

                 Key: AMQ-2593
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-2593
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Broker
    Affects Versions: 5.2.0
Environment: Windows 2003 Servcer JDK 1.5.0_09-b03
            Reporter: SPES G200
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: 5.2.0

Hi to everybody,
my application foresees more producer and a consumer.
The producers continually produce many messages and for a lot of time the consumer succeeds in emptying the queue (persistent) with the same speed with which the producers insert the messages, but after a certai time the consumer begins to slow down and even if the producers stop him to insert messages, the consumer doesn't increase his speed. Also stopping and restarting the broker (and not restarting the producers), the consumer goes slow.
I have tried to use jdbcPersistenceAdapter and journaledJDBC (derbyDB) but the problem is the same

Do you have some solution?

Thanks in advance
