eclipse:eclipse adding lines to .settings/org.eclipse.jdt.core.prefs

Hello,
I read the whole documentation of the eclipse:eclipse goal but was not 
able to find out how I can add lines to the 

org.eclipse.jdt.core.prefs

file such as : org.eclipse.jdt.core.compiler.source=1.5

can you help me?

configure your compliler plugin, eclipse will pick it up.
