Interesting Problem - Bayes

Hi all,

I think I have finally found what was causing my Spamd to die.

When the Bayes database is updated from the Bayes journal, all
processing is paused. If the journal is quite large, this at times can
cause the spamd to fall over. I reduced the size of the journal back to
the default, and it seems to have made spamd more stable. I also change
the default setting for learning ham to -4, this helped reduce the
amount of entries being stored in the journal.

Is there a recommended size for the journal for large volume systems?
Do you have any general recommended Bayes tips etc, for large volume
systems?

Thanks
