I don't understand what you are saying - if it can't be cast to 
CustomAccionMapping it probably means it's not a CustomAccionMapping type and 
that makes me think that you just haven't configured struts to use your 
CustomAccionMapping class properly.

I'm closing this for now, because you haven't tried posting your problem on the 
user list first - please can you do that first. If it does turn out to be a 
bug, you can always re-open this.
