[Discussion] Geronimo 2.1.8 Release

Hi Devs,

It has been long time since the latest Geronimo 2.1 release (2.1.7). I
thought it's time for us to do the plan for a new Geronimo 2.1 release
(2.1.8). The major changes would be Tomcat and JAXB upgrades.

BTW, I'm voluntary to be the release manager.

Any comment?

We have to upgrade tranql also, which has new patches.

Sounds good. Would definitely be good to update 2.1.x. A 2.2.x release would be good also, if there are any volunteers...

Thanks Michael!
